Easter Egg/Treasure Hunt Success
At the Easter Egg/Treasure Hunt on Easter Sunday, 150 prizes were given out to the many children that took part. Organisers, family and friends all had a great time at the event.
Grateful thanks to Tony from the Lakeside Café for his help and support, and to Janet Groves for the photographs.
Our thanks also go to Langney Shed for the donation of three bird boxes that were given as prizes and Hampden Park Shed, who gave us knitted rabbits and chicks.

Plans to enhance the ornamental gardens
With the help of our garden volunteers, the committee is preparing a six-month plan to enhance and improve the existing flower beds. This will include planting more shrubs and flowers in many areas while ensuring the paths and streams are kept in as good a condition as possible.
We will submit these plans to Eastbourne Borough Council for their agreement.
We will keep you updated on our progress.
If you want to work with us on this project, why not become a paid-up member and join our friendly team. Membership forms are available in the café or can be downloaded from the contact page.
Sensory Garden Transformation Begins
Last autumn, our garden volunteers were hard at work clearing the overgrown beds in the Sensory Garden.
Shrubs and perennials are now being planted to improve and enhance the flowerbeds, as you can see below.
We will add more images as we continue our work during the year.
